James Bridges is a senior media and digital entertainment executive with over 25 years' international leadership across streaming, content and platform partnerships, including Foxtel, Malaysia’s iflix (Chief Content Officer), documentary service iwonder (co-founder and CEO) and, most recently, Amazon Prime Video, where he led Content Acquisition for Prime Video Channels and movie and TV rentals across Australia and New Zealand. 

Since leaving Amazon in early 2026, James has built an independent advisory practice, Bridges Advisory, helping businesses move from AI curiosity to genuine operational capability: practical tools, automated workflows and hands-on skills transfer, not theory, across entire organisations. 

James is Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD)-qualified and advises boards and leadership teams on AI governance and adoption alongside his consulting work. James lives in Sydney.
